The DeFeo Duck was a statue located on the south-west corner of Betel and New road. At times the head would get knocked of by mysterious forces. We need a definite identification of the girl so proper credit can be provided. The duck picture was taken before 1943.

1943.
Joan Wilson interviewed Frank DeFeo on
June16, 1999. Mrs. DeFeo could not convince him that the girl in the picture was their
daughter. Joan reported, "WW III almost broke out while discussing the girls
identity." The Duck was on the north-west side of Bethel
Avenue until around 1943 when it was moved to the
south-west side of the corner. This is the reason you see trees
are in the picture. We questioned that also but Joan
and Mr. DeFeo solved the mystery.
