The DeFeo Duck was a statue  located   on  the  south-west corner of Betel and New road.  At times  the   head would  get   knocked   of by mysterious  forces.

We need a definite identification of the girl so proper credit can be provided.  The duck picture was taken before 1943.

Joan Wilson interviewed Frank DeFeo on June16, 1999. Mrs. DeFeo could not convince him that the girl in the picture was their daughter. Joan reported, "WW III almost broke out while  discussing the girls identity."  The Duck was  on the  north-west  side of Bethel   Avenue until  around  1943  when  it was  moved to the south-west side of the corner. This  is  the  reason you see  trees    are in  the  picture.   We questioned that also but Joan and Mr. DeFeo solved the mystery.
